Pari Livermore has devoted the past 30 years of her life to philanthropy. It has been the kind of life that she has always imagined for herself, even when she was younger. Her dreams revolve mainly about making a change in the world and helping people through ways that she genuinely enjoys. Pari has led our team in hosting countless fundraisers over the years in support of several non-profit organizations, aspiring young minds, and causes that she feels passionate about. This includes the environment.

Pari’s husband and mother-in-law were both active conservationists during their time. They founded several nature-centered facilities such as the Marin Art and Garden Center, Samuel P. Taylor State Park, and the Richardson Bay Sanctuary. Pari has always been surrounded by a profound love for nature. Her dedication to caring for our mother earth is what prompted her to lead a beautification project for the Vallejo Stairway Garden, funded by one of her most successful projects: theMentor’s Luncheon”.

Pari’s Inspiration and Love for Nature Go Hand in Hand

In 1990, the Vallejo Stairway Garden was in a state of disarray. The garden was desolate, neglected, and unkempt. Upon seeing its condition, Pari began collaborating with Carol Anne Rogers and Gail Glasser to restore the garden to its original beauty. The trio began to think of ways to encourage the residents of the Russian Hill to help them clean and revitalize the area.

Eventually, Pari came up with the idea of a luncheon as a fundraiser for their project. They would hold a gathering with the residents of the Russian Hill called the Mentor’s Luncheon, wherein women from the neighborhood would be given a chance to talk about their inspirations and the role these people play in their lives. Each attendee was required to write one sentence about their mentor, which would be included in the event’s program.

The trio’s fundraiser succeeded. The Mentor’s Luncheon served as a safe space for women residing in the Russian Hill neighborhood to share their inspirations and beliefs. Gift bags were handed to all attendees at the end of the program, but many treasured the lessons and virtues they learned from participating in the luncheon far more than the gift bags. The project generated enough funding for Pari and her partners to proceed with their beautification project for the Vallejo Stairway Garden.

The Mentor’s Luncheon became a tradition that Russian Hill residents loved and anticipated. Pari and her partners were able to host this luncheon for 7 years, ensuring that the Vallejo Stairway Garden stayed as a stunning and natural haven for everyone in the neighborhood. As residents of the neighborhood stroll through the garden’s abundant greenery, they are reminded of Pari’s efforts to care for our environment by hosting an empowering event to honor the most inspirational women.

To this day, Pari tirelessly leads us in generating funds for several non-profit organizations and charities. We continuously exert our best efforts in hosting these fundraisers, emphasizing the importance of generosity and inspiration in our daily lives. Help us make a change by contributing to our cause!
